This is the Technical stuff about the site, just in case you are really interested in this kind of thing.  Graphics One of the primary purposes for this site is to give myself an opportunity to try new things. Hopefully, I will try a good number of programs and have satisfatory results. All of the graphics currently on the web site have been created by myself using Web 3D by Asymetrix.  This very flexible program is actually a lot of fun to learn and use. I still have not even scratched the surface of this program's capabilities (and I may never get to all of them), but I am working on it.  On-line Resources This may eventually become its own page on the site, but for now I mention a few notable sites. I visited all of the sites represented by the clickable banners on this page while building my little corner of the cyber-world.  I can't really say whether I used any of the stuff from these sites; I collected so much stuff and used so much stuff, I just got confused by the whole thing. What I can say is, these are exceptional resources for building a web site; if you are building one, check them out. Add-ons There are really only two add-ons at the moment: the counter and the guestbook. Both are from the same company and both are free; if you want to have one for your own, go to TheCounter.com or TheGuestBook.com and sign up. |
